Biography

Mark Jefferson is a founding member and Senior Fellow of the Jamestown Project. Mr. Jefferson is an associate at Thelen Reid Brown Raysman and Steiner, LLP. Prior to joining Thelen, Mr. Jefferson was a founding faculty member of the SEED Public Charter School in Washington, D.C. His experience as a middle school teacher cemented his ongoing interest in the relationship between literacy and democracy. Mr. Jefferson's recent research interests center around global immigration.
