Mr. Dhanda was also the Director of the Bioethics Program at Interleukin Genetics and a member of the company's Business Development Division. Mr. Dhanda has worked as an independent consultant to many life science firms, and he is the author of several publications, an inventor on numerous patents and applications, and has recently authored a new book that addresses the crossroads between industry and bioethics, entitled Guiding Icarus: Merging Bioethics with Corporate Interests (2002). Rahul K. Dhanda is a founding member and Senior Fellow of
the Jamestown Project. Mr. Dhanda began his biotech career at Harvard Medical
School, developing
technologies for rapid, DNA-based cancer screening. After leaving the academic
laboratory, he moved to private industry, where he has worked for numerous
companies. Currently, he is a part of Boston Scientific's Urology division's
marketing management team. In past positions, he was founder and Chair of the
Bioethics Advisory Group of the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council, as well as
a Research Fellow at Harvard
University's Kennedy
School of Government.
